Travel Book 3rd day

The Last day, we checked out and said goodbye to dear Amaris Hotel, and took off to Primarasa to bought some cookies for gifts. well, it's delicious and I wished I should have bought 5 packs or so.

For our last activity for Week Without Walls, we went to Saung Angklung Udjo. We learned how to play Angklung and how they're made. I was sick so I wasn't really paying attention. I saw that there's stuff like bamboo there and several boys went there and hugged them like Bamboo Complex.

Now, we went to the airport and went home. Well, it's sad to leave quickly but at least it was fun for these 3 days :D

Travel Book 2nd day

Now we started our 2nd day for Week Without Walls Activity at Amaris Hotel. We wake up early, sleepy as usual, and eat some breakfast. Then we went to KAA(Konferensi Asia Africa or in English Conference Asia-Africa) Museum. I've to admitted, this is the most boring activity of the day. We heard all this blabbering about documentation, history, and stuff.

After those nonsense, we went to Geology Museum, Another somehow better nonsense as I don't really like this kind of things. But still I was pretty interested because this museum holds some fossils like T-Rex, and stones. Anyway I like the stuff, but I didn't interested in those descriptions because for me it's just like a long writings. So I slept, interviewed, and took a picture. The end for this event.

Next stop, Bistro. For me, this is more suitable situation for me. Because after all, it's like a teenager stop and it's just my stuff. I found some good clothes though its pricey, the shop owner gave us discount voucher for Rp.90.000,- or stuff, so it's equal to free cloth. Actually it was only Rp.45.000,- but my friend gave me another voucher so I could buy it for free. We also learned how's the distribution and selling of this clothing shops.

Then, we went to C59. It's the most interesting place for me. Because it provides all information about how the business works. From distribution, making, and stuff again. I also did some pratical there, such as colouring the clothes. It was fun, and I hope that I could stay long IF it's not so hot.

The 2nd last of our activities today. We spend at Rumah Mode, We're bored especially boys and we ended up doing nothing but playing games. That spot became the loudest place after we made some noise, especially near boys zone. Nothing special but games.

Now, let us ended our activities by shopping at PVJ or Paris Van Java. It's like Sutos at Surabaya. Well, it's all about branded stuff, but it's not so pricey like LV, Channel, etc. It got some tasty restaurant and some attractions. At least it was the funniest time and we went back to Amaris Hotel and having a Night Party (Boys Only) before we caught by Mr. Andreas and slept.

Travel Book 1st day

Obviously, in day 1, we started our Week Without Walls Activity. In short, we had to arrived at Juanda Airport around 5-6 o'clock. So most of us were all sleepy. Well this boring trip took around 3 hours as we have to wait for national students to come at Jakarta's airport. When they had come, we immediately go to Garuda's office to took some tour guides and also took some picture :D.

Afterward, we went to GMF (Garuda Maintenance Facility) to learn the process of repairing and taking care of airplane. We also learned that there are 2 factories which differs each other. If the airplane doesn't need any vital repair, it'll be put at the 2nd factory. And if the airplane has broken down, it'll be put at the 1st factory. Also, GMF is an open-wide so any other country's airplanes can be repaired there.

Then, we went to ACS (Aerowisata Catering Services) to learn the process of catering for aircraft. We saw that there's a lot of process going, such as storing, making, cooking, distributing, etc. We also saw that in this building that there's lots of cuisine. Such as Indonesia, Japanese, French, America, and lots more. It's a pity we couldn't take picture of it

The last Garuda's service we could see is GITC (Garuda Indonesia Training Centre) is of course a training centre for Garuda's air crews. It's pretty amazing that it has simulation from emergency, during flight, and also the coolest of all, Pilot simulation. We also met some training steward and heard several information about body language. Well it's fun anyway.

We said goodbye to our tou guide and quickly went to Bandung took some meals and arrived at our hotel, Amaris and end the day.
